SMART CONNECTED PRODUCT
Industrial IoT SaaS based design solutions
Overview
Date: 2019 - 2021 Role: PTC UX Designer
Responsibilities: As the only UX Designer for the Smart Connected Product, I lead design workshop, and white boarding session. Create storyboards, user flows, wire frames, mock-ups, high fidelity prototype and work with PM, developers on a daily basis. Conduct research and usability testing to iterate the design.
Challenges:In this project, you will see my designs for a SaaS based B2B smart connected product. The app is designed for manufacturing factories to have real-time visibility of assets to remotely monitoring and run diagnostic. The design needs to be clean and simple, but able to scale to over 100,000 records.
Accomplishments: 5 months of design from scratch to the first released MVP. "The app allows users to service machines and respond to issues within minutes as opposed to sending a technician on-site every time there is a problem. The design solution significantly eliminate unnecessary downtime by remotely diagnosing the problems while the technician is en route to the ATM" - Our customer feedback
